Using TheSportExchange (User Guide)

Getting Started

  1. Create or connect your wallet

    • Connect a supported Web3 wallet in the app.

    • Make sure you understand how to back up your keys and seed phrase.

  2. Fund your account

    • Deposit the supported token (e.g. USDC / USDp / PANDA – depending on current integration).

    • All trades occur on-chain; you always retain custody of your assets.

  3. Choose a team

    • Browse markets by league and team.

    • For each team you can see: current Key price, circulating supply, historical chart, and performance metrics.

  4. Buy your first Keys

    • Enter how much you want to spend or how many Keys you want to acquire.

    • The app shows the total cost before you confirm.

    • Confirm in your wallet – the smart contract mints Keys and assigns them to you.

  5. Track your position

    • Monitor:

      • Current Key price

      • Unrealized P/L

      • Estimated performance score & allocated buyback share (where shown)

    • Decide whether to add, hold, or realize gains.

  6. Sell if you want to exit

    • Specify how many Keys to sell.

    • The AMM returns liquidity and burns your Keys.

    • Funds are available for withdrawal back to your wallet.

2. Building a Key Portfolio (sub-page)

Building a Key Portfolio

Examples of strategies:

  • Conviction Play – Accumulate Keys in a small number of teams you believe will outperform over multiple seasons.

  • League Index – Hold smaller positions across many teams to gain broad exposure to the league’s performance.

  • Underdog Thesis – Accumulate Keys in undervalued teams where performance-linked buybacks could surprise to the upside.

  • Dynamic Rebalancing – Periodically rebalance between over- and under-performers based on performance scores and buyback flows.

TSE is not about predicting a single result. It’s about designing long-horizon sports exposure that matches your research, loyalty, and risk appetite.

3. Reading Metrics in the App (sub-page)

Reading Metrics in the App

Key metrics you’ll typically see:

  • Price per Key – Current AMM price for a single Key.

  • Circulating Supply – How many Keys of this team currently exist (max 21,000).

  • Market Cap – Price × circulating supply.

  • Performance Score – The team’s normalized performance measure that drives allocations from the Performance Pool.

  • Estimated Buyback Ratio (EBR%) – An estimate of how much buyback pressure the team may receive relative to others over the next epoch (not a guarantee).

Together, these help you understand:

  • How scarce a team’s Keys are right now.

  • How much demand they are seeing.

  • How strongly performance may translate into future buybacks.
