Overcollateralization & Backing

  • 140% Backed: USDp is overcollateralized by USDC, ETH, BTC, PANDA, PandaFantasy keys, and other assets approved by PANDA governance. This 140%+ collateral ratio provides a strong security margin against market volatility.

  • Flexible Asset Mix: The Panda DAO (governed by PANDA holders) determines which assets—and in what proportions—can be used to back USDp.

  • Capital Efficiency: While USDp is heavily overcollateralized, only 10% of the collateral is maintained in USDC as an on-demand liquidity reserve for direct cashouts. This makes capital usage efficient while still offering a clear path to USDC redemption.
